Coming from Hamburg/Lübeck:
Drive on the A 20 motorway towards Rostock, continuing until the Stralsund exit. Follow the B 96 towards Stralsund and then follow the signs to Rügen.
Travel recommendation from Stralsund to Ostseebad Binz:
In Stralsund, the B 96 crosses the new Rügen Bridge onto the island. Follow the B 96 towards Bergen and, after approximately 20 km, turn onto the B 196 (right before Bergen) towards Sellin/Göhren. After passing through Bergen, take the turnoff to Karow after about 5 km. Follow the road to Prora and turn right at the end of the road. Continue straight until you reach the left turn onto Prorae Allee. At the end of the street, turn right onto Dollahner Straße. Follow this road until you turn left onto Dünenstraße. After 400 meters, turn left onto Proraer Straße, and follow it until you reach the Arkona Strandhotel on your left.

With Deutsche Bahn’s long-distance trains, you can reach Binz directly from Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover, Cologne, Frankfurt (Main), and Munich without changing trains.
There are excellent ICE and Intercity connections from across Germany to Binz, often without the need to transfer.
If you wish, we will be happy to pick you up from Binz train station free of charge and return you there punctually upon departure. Please inform us of your arrival and departure times in advance.
